Hook House

Just like last year, my favorite location.

Hook House was the perfect rental for our family of 5. It is in a great location in town, its on the beach, it was clean and comfortable and working with Elbow Key Properties was easy.
We rented a boat for the week, a golf cart and spent most of our days on the water. We visited many of the other cays and frequented all the restaurants around. We had the best time and will be back.

We had a great week. Just an issue with bugs but that can happen and Elbow Cay Property’s staff was quick to respond.

This was our third time staying at Hook House, and we love it. The location cannot be beat, right on the beach and within easy walk to docks, dinner, etc. The house had everything we needed and was very comfortable. If I had to recommend anything, I would ask for a lounger for the deck.

I always appreciate the staff in the office. Hillary was especially helpful this year. I would also strongly suggest to the owners to get some a/c in the main room. Still, we like the house

Elbow Cay Properties was great! They got us in and settled well. Anytime we called with a question, it was answered promptly. Not that we needed to call because the property was wonderful! Already booked for next year!

The Hook House was a great property for our party. The beach was amazing! Loved sitting on the deck overlooking the beach and watching the waves crash.

The house was in great shape and had everything we needed.

We had the absolute best time in Hope Town! The house was super clean when we arrived. The view is breathtaking from the moment you walk in. All the beds were very comfortable! The a/c in each room worked great. The kitchen was well equipped with all the things you could possibly need. It is really quiet at night and the sound of the ocean will lull you to sleep. We loved being close to town and it is easy to walk anywhere you need to go. I have nothing negative to say about the hook house. The communication with the property company could not have been any better. It was perfect! Oh and do yourself a favor, get up and watch the sunrise one morning. You won’t be disappointed.

Well appointed, excellent location and on the beach..walk off the deck and you are there. The thing that I did not enjoy on our stay, was the few options for getting supplies on the grocery stores. But it is a small island. The other thing was the long travel hours to reach the destination. Other than that is a very relaxing and beautiful destination.

The sweetest little home in the most perfect location! Right in town so an easy walk to Cap'n Jacks and the grocery stores. The view is stunning...we rented a golf cart and went anywhere else we needed to. This is an ideal spot for families looking to just relax!

The house is in very good shape. The owners have done a great job repairing after Dorian. We only had a few very minor issues. The location is FANTASTIC! Right on the beach and only a few steps from the Upper Public (old Post Office) dock. But, the dryer vent was not connected, we had a couple bulbs out, and there were a couple exposed wires where light fixtures used to be. We quickly got bulbs delivered, but the dryer vent was never fixed. Overall, great stay and would recommend the house to anyone looking for a well maintained, convenient location!

We really enjoyed our stay at Hook House. This is a simple and somewhat quirky house. The location is perfect. Close to the ferry and right in the heart of Hopetown. Just walk right out to the gorgeous beach.
