Honeymoon Villa

We had a fantasic stay in Honeymoon villa. The location is perfect. It is right in the settlement near Vernons, Munchies and walkable to everywhere else. It's also right by the beach! The rental company picked us up when we arrived, showed us around our home and were super easy to work with. We will stay here again.

The cottage was very well outfitted and comfortable. The location was great. All the staff were so helpful and any issues were addressed and fixed quickly. We totally enjoyed our time there.

We (2 of us) had an outstanding time. The house is in a great location, it’s comfortable, well decorated, clean, and well furnished. The property management group is quick to respond to questions and very helpful. The queen bed and pillows are very comfortable. We spent a lot of time on the porch, which was quiet, airy, and private. The outdoor shower was a bonus. We already rebooked for next year.

We have been renting from Elbow Cay Properties as long as we can remember over 30 years of visiting Bahamas. First, the staff always friendly and helpful. Tremendous people to work with. All the properties we have rented are very clean and orderly. The cleaning staff and caretakers are wonderful people!

Hopetown is a great settlement. The Villa is in a perfect location. Over the dunes is a "deserted beach"... great for walking and listening to the surf .
Lots to do on Elbow cay, but a cart rental is necessary. Across the harbour is a lodge/ marina which runs a regular shuttle to the settlement.

The house was very well appointed, great location. Very close to beach access and settlement. House was very clean, with the floors being the exception - our feet were filthy if we went barefoot. They need to add a new frying pan or two. Note the washer and dryer are showing as amenities but after we booked we received notification to have access to them we would have to pay an additional $100. We opted to use the local laundromat for $14. Good restaurants on the island, you'll need to rent a golf cart to see the south side of the island. You can't have a golf cart in the settlement, but it's very walkable. I'd emailed the property mgmt office thru VRBO and asked several questions before our trip and never received a response. Yes, there is a hair dryer, beach towels and no there is not a cooler, beach chairs or umbrella - you'll have to rent those also. Buy groceries on the big island and take over on the ferry, buy water to drink it's not filtered. The property mgmt was helpful and friendly once we were there. We'd definitely go back.

We have two boys that are 5 & 7. They had so much fun visiting. The house is in a perfect location with close proximity to the beach, town, and boating. Cannot say enough good things about this place and the town. We already booked next year!

Honeymoon Villa is perfectly located in the heart of Hope Town with just a short stroll up the hill to a simply gorgeous view of the beach. We spent every morning and evening watching the sunrises and sunsets. The home is the perfect size for two couples or a family with two children. It was spotlessly clean and had every item you could possibly need to prepare any meal. The management team was very responsive and accommodating to your every need. The cleaning staff was wonderful. We would highly recommend this property and would definitely stay again.

We rented the Honeymoon Villa for 12 nights in May 2023. Perfect location in the settlement of Hopetown. Walk over the hill, and beautiful secluded beach awaits. The Villa was equipped with everything needed for our stay.
Be sure to rent Beach chairs and Umbrellas. The generator was not connected, but we never needed it during our stay. The queen bed is located in the loft upstairs. There is a narrow spiral staircase up to the loft.
We enjoyed the front porch, but bug spray is needed. Wonderful vacation, for my husband and I. We will rent again.

We have been vacationing in the Abacos for 3 years and rented various different houses in Hope Town. Honeymoon Villa was absolutely lovely! Beautifully renovated following hurricane Dorian. The villa was so comfortable, well laid out, perfect for one or two couples. Front porch was our favorite 'room'. We will definitely return. Thank you!!

great house steps from the beach. well equipped, close to everything. in town but only a few minutes to the post office dock to get to your golf cart. first time to elbow - would definitely return.. you can see the life coming back to the island - good stuff!

We stayed at Honeymoon Villa Nov. 5-12, 2022. The villa is exceptionally well appointed, better than any rental we have had anywhere. It is a cozy, comfortable cottage, very well located in the settlement and steps to the beach. Our stay coincided with Tropical Storm Nicole so sunny days on the beach were not in the cards. The villa's generator was out of service so when we lost power for 2 days, the good folks at Elbow Cay Properties put us in temporary quarters until power came back. We definitely would stay at Honeymoon Villa again, but not in November!

We’ve been to Honeymoon Villa several times and it never disappoints. Beautifully decorated, comfortable, clean with everything you need. A few steps to the most spectacular beach with views of the sunrise and sunset. Can’t wait to go back!

Honeymoon Villa was even more wonderful than we imagined. It was spotlessly clean & any little issues found in every home were taken care of immediately because Elbow Cay properties customer service is as good as it gets.
Location is perfectly central to everything in the Settlement. Just a few steps from the beach, the Harbour, the grocery stores, & everything else.

We stayed in the Honeymoon Villa, which was super charming and comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked for all our cooking desires, the front porch was our favorite place to spend time and read books after coming back from the beach.
They've included little touches like a sprayer and an outdoor shower and a good selection of books in case you read all the ones you brought. They've really thought of everything and the staff is super helpful.

This is a charming, cheery, comfortable home decorated in Bahamas Islands style. The house is very well equipped, the beds and furniture are truly comfortable and support from Elbow Cay Properties is prompt if needed. We liked being so near the ocean, the harbour, both grocery stores, the docks and to the gift shops. We've been visiting Abaco for 30 years, both on our sailboat and staying in rental homes. This home was perfect for the two of us and for our daughter.

Francois met us at the dock to help us bring our luggage to the villa. The rental was nice and clean upon arrival. We loved being so close to the beach and town. once we rented bikes we were able to see much more of the island.

As a repeat visitor to Honey Moon Villa, when approaching the harbor and seeing the Lighthouse, Francois, from EC Properties, at the dock to meet me, it feels like coming home!
Honey Moon is always just perfect.Beautiful and welcoming! All needs and wants are met, (but don't tell! It will be our little secret)
What to do? Sail, go to yoga class, play , meet old friends, visit the library, the museum, the Lighthouse, walk the beach, play bridge, explore, read, doze in the hammock, swim, eat, go to wonderful musical events at the community center,join the artists, the writers for a morning, make new friends and relax! Eat some more!

Wow Wow WoW! This little cottage by the sea is decorated "beach chic" and is perfectly located! Modern amenities with island charm- it is a dream!

Adorable little cottage with comfy beds and well outfitted kitchen. A few steps up the hill and you have a panoramic view of the gorgeous beach. Take the stairs down to the beach. The pick up and return service of the rental company was great. They will guide you through when you need to get the ferry. Cap n Jacks has great grouper sandwiches. Sip Sip has great pizza. Don't miss the lighthouse.

Honeymoon Villa was all that we thought it would be, close to everything, including the beach, places to eat, and a bike rental company. Very clean and just as pictured! We plan to visit again next year.
