Hilltop

We’ve been coming to Hopetown off and on for 45 years and it never gets old. Only one emergency repair was required (water system) and the staff was immediately on it, thank you!
Great rental

We had a wonderful stay at Hilltop. The house was clean and we had plenty of space for 3 couples to not feel like they were on top of each other. The rooftop patio is unmatched, perched high above all of HT with breathtaking views. The kitchen cookware could use an update. We did have the water run out and they quickly responded to get the tanks changed, we also had a minor hot water issue that was quickly resolved. The response time for these issues was better than expected. You should know that there are no golf carts allowed in the settlement so you have to carry everything about an 8-10 walk. I suggest packing grocery cooler bags. Great vacation, you definitely need a golf cart to enjoy the island. We would for sure stay here again. Loved it!

The hilltop was lovely. Lots of beautiful spaces to enjoy. Felt very safe. Convenient to both docs and ocean – a beautiful stretch of beach.

We had an awesome trip celebrating our oldest daughters graduation from high school! The house was beautiful and we will definitely sty here again! We had a great time in the boat. We had all ages from 6 months to 65 years. The Rustic Family

We thought it was a great place and a great location with lots of great sitting areas including Outdoors. Almost nothing to complain about except getting cold water in the shower unexpectedly on several occasions

Our group was thrilled with every aspect of Hilltop. The location, amenities and all aspects of the rental were top notch. Our time in the Hope Town was fantastic and this house is fabulous!

With lush plantings and gardens, the outside seating and dining provides plenty of room to spread out. An idea location in town, that is private and quiet, with waterviews from one bedroom and from the covered roof top deck. The electricity is provided primarily by solar power with a large amount of power storage, with an additional backup connection to the local power source for airconditioning. Sequential
showers is the best approach to plenty of hot water. We stayed for 2 weeks 1/2024 and 3 weeks 2/2024 - it felt like a home not a rental.

A very nice property: granite countertops, good fixtures, bedding and towels. Really enjoyed the covered outdoor areas (especially when it rained) and a great view from the rooftop lookout (the only place with a view). It was a long walk to our golfcart for the seniors in our group, but you could probably get by without a cart since you are so close to Vernon's grocery. The hot water was somewhat erratic although it was somewhat better after Carrie from ECP had the propane tank changed. Overall it was great to be in Hopetown for the first time after Dorian. Plus, I always feel safe in the Abacos.

This home was beautiful with outstanding views from the upper deck. We spent every morning and many sunsets overlooking the harbor. We had dinner for 8-10 at the kitchen table with plenty of room to spread out. Love that the kitchen had plenty of supplies including a bbq. Bedrooms super comfortable with nice linens and pillows especially after a long day on the water.

Hilltop does not disappoint! It is a lovely home that is only exceeded by the beauty of Elbow Cay itself. The outdoor living space is even more amazing than the photos. Comfortable seating for 6-8 people on three different levels. The splash pool is lovely and the outdoor shower is heaven! The crows nest has amazing views anytime of the day! Inside everything is beautiful and comfortable. The 2 king bedrooms are spacious and the bathrooms are larger than any I have stayed in on the island. The open floor plan with the kitchen / dining and living area is beautiful and lends itself to lots of great family/friends time. The kayaks were greatly appreciated also!

Amazing!!!!

Hilltop property is a new favorite in Hopetown for our family. Quaint, wonderful views, great amenities, very well maintained are just a few words I would use to describe Hilltop. Elbow Cay Properties once again was great to work with and look forward to booking with them again next year!

We have been to Hope Town 5 times and this place is great! the décor, location, outdoor living space, kayaks, pool, location to harbor and condition of the home are great! We had a great time and would certainly go back to Hilltop

We had a great stay at Hilltop. The property is the best we have stayed at in Abaco, and we hope to reserve it again next year.

Hilltop was a beautiful home in the settlement about a block from the grocery, 2 blocks from Capt Jacks for food/drinks, and 2 blocks from the dock where we were able to keep our rental boat. We could not have asked for a better location and exquisite sunset views of the lighthouse and Abaco Sea from our rooftop patio!! We rented a golf cart and we’re able to explore the southern end of the island and great restaurants like The Abaco Inn and Firefly. Also, great location to explore the northern tip of the island and take long walks on the beach. We love Hope Town and cannot wait for our next trip back!! Hilltop was beautifully decorated and most of all, they maximized the outdoor living area. We spent most of our time on the deck and loved eating dinner and playing cards on the outdoor dining table with the adorable solar powered lighting! Highly recommend Hilltop!!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hilltop! This home is equipped with everything you need and more. Our favorite spots in the home were the outdoor spaces(lots of shaded seating, including outdoor dining and a pool) and the kitchen.

We enjoyed the property and would recommend it.

hilltop villa was everything and more. the house was very clean, the kitchen was very well equipped and everything functioned great. the pool was so nice to come back to after a day on the boat or from the beach. we loved this house and didn't have one issue or complaint. wait... we did have one issue....we didn't stay long enough. hahaha.. hilltop is a very special property for a certain type of traveler. that is one who appreciates a vacation home as such in the abacos. thank you elbow cay properties and congratulations to the new owner. we will see you soon hilltop. thank you from the okuszka's for a great hopetown vacation

This was our second time at the Hilltop. Overall it is a very convenient home to stay in. the only draw backs are: the kitchen knives are very poor, the dish washer leaks and the lack of basic items in the kitchen.
we didn't use the dish washer at all. just noticed water on the floor.
Items like foil, food wraps and bags should be supplied.

It's a great house. Very clean and comfortable. We did lose power twice but only for a couple of hours. We also ran out of water but someone came very quickly to refill the tank. There is a kayak with the house but no paddle- we had heard that ahead of time and brought our own. We loved having a plunge pool and the rooftop area was awesome. This house is convenient to everything although next time we may look for something that's beachfront. Overall we loved it!

The new owners of this excellent property are in the process of doing numerous upgrades. That effort will result in an even more desirable rental.

Our experience at Hilltop house was exceptional. The property is spacious, charming,well-equipped and the patio, garden and dipping pool at ground level was amazing as was the view and breeze at the upper deck overlooking the Sea of Abaco and to the East, the Atlantic. The property is well situated in town near the lower public dock, close to shops and a few minute walk to an incredibly beautiful stretch of Atlantic beach! Could not have asked for a better property. The management team was responsive and proactive in ensuring our stay was beyond enjoyable.

Hilltop was a great! It had everything that we needed and is in the perfect location. Close to town and ferry's. Staff at Elbow Cay Properties were very friendly and willing to help with anything we needed. LOVED watching the sun rise and set on the the rooftop balcony! Would definitely recommend staying here!
