Wonderful stay at Hide Aweigh. Lovely view of the harbour and the lighthouse. Very clean and inviting. Our hostess, Clara, was beyond wonderful and so easy to work with. We had coffee every morning on our deck as we watched Hope Town wake up. People were coming going in and out of the harbour and it was enjoyable to watch them.

From start to finish this was just wonderful. We received emails prior to our visit from Elbow Cay Rentals with so much information. Clara met us at the ferry dock upon arrival and walked us to the rental to welcome us and show us everything. The rental is brand new, fully equipped, modern, spotlessly clean, and perfect location right beside Jack’s. Sitting on the porch looking out over the harbor is amazing, the lighthouse, the boat action, the ferry going by....all just wonderful. We rented a boat and the dock is just below the rental so you can just jump on for the day! We cannot think of one thing that we didn’t like about this rental. Only thing I would note is that it is up some stairs and also that if you rent a golf cart you must park it a small walking distance away as golf carts are not allowed in the town. We enjoyed every minute of staying in this rental!

My wife and I really enjoyed hideaway. Rental was exceptionally clean and the caretaker Clara was great too work with. Our only suggestion would be a firmer mattress and a folding bind on the deck for the afternoon sun.

We had a great time staying in Hopetown at Hide Aweigh! The unit was spotless and bed slept great. The kitchen was modern and well equipped. The location was perfect and the VIEW was perfect looking at the harbor and the light house. We will certainly stay here again when in town!
We were in a house with our children and grand children. We extended several days in Hide Aweigh.very efficient. New appliances. Great shower. So convenient. We will be back!
