We were very fortunate to have rented a house in a great location. The beach was perfect and it was easy to get to from the house.
The layout was great for our five adults and two children. The house was clean and in good shape.
Each bedroom had its own bathroom which was appreciated.
We would rent this house again.

Headquarters is a traditional Abaco type beach house. It is very well located right next to the Abaco Inn. The house has been updated since hurricane Dorian and everything is clean and in working order. It has a wonderful deck with views of both the Atlantic Ocean and white sound. The caretakers are great. The generator is great. The pool is great. I wish it had an outdoor shower. The bedrooms are a little on the small side. All in all a great rental property and I would stay in it again.

We’ve stayed at Headquarters before. We love the house and looks like it got a little makeover. While we were there we had to constantly turn on the generator manually. At 4 am that is not fun, it needs the automatic like most of the other houses. Looking forward to renting it again!

great trip and wonderful experience on Elbow Cay. However, the generator does not turn on power automatically (power transfer switch does not work) and the exhaust from the generator is not piped away from the house far enough to one of the bedrooms fills with diesel exhaust smells.

Considering we were the first guests to stay in this house after the 2019 hurricane, it was a great stay. Few minor housekeeping issues that were quickly rectified with the very responsive, maintenance and property manager. Amazing view and basically a private beach. The beds were so comfortable! We stayed for five nights, and we will definitely stay again. So many fun hermit crabs roaming the property, our kids had a blast. The pool is cold, but also very refreshing!

We don't usually stay on Elbow Cay, preferring properties which are more private, but Headquarters changed our minds. The property is situated so that your privacy is preserved without impinging on the great views. The house is designed thoughtfully, giving guests their own "space" in their rooms, with the living, dining, and kitchen spaces providing ample room for gatherings. Our grandchildren enjoyed the pool more than us but we found it delicious on hot days/nights.The caretakers, Jamie and Laura Williams were great. Top notch service.

We loved this rental house! Our only complaint is smell in master bathroom - appears to be an issue with drainage/plumbing. We were able to handle it by covering master shower drain with a washrag. Also, kitchen cabinets are very disorganized - was not a big deal for us as we did not cook much in house.

Headquarters is central to White Sound but far enough away other homes that you can have as much peace and quiet as you want and an easy stroll to the Abaco Inn or Seaspray for a little action.

We have rented houses in Hopetown several times over the past few years, but this one was by far my favorite. The house had the perfect layout for 3 couples, with each of us having our own bathroom connected to our rooms. My husband and I stayed in the twin bedroom and found it was plenty big for the two of us. The private balcony off of each bedroom was great for drying out swimsuits and towels at the end of the day. My favorite part, though, was the pool and the attached and covered gazebo. We had shade for reading during the day, and spent every evening under the gazebo, catching the breeze while we enjoyed a cold drink. Dockage was great for our rental boat, and the location of the house can't be beat, as the Abaco Inn is right next door and Seaspray is just a short walk or cart ride down the road. Jamie, the caretaker, was very pleasant and he helped us with pick up and drop off at the ferry dock. We will definitely be renting this house again. It was great!

Headquarters was the perfect place for us to relax during our honeymoon. We loved that the location was close to The Abaco Inn, Firefly, and Seaspray. Hopetown was a short golf cart ride away which was perfect. The house was very clean and well stocked with cooking supplies. Overall, the experience was a 10. Loved Elbow Cay and staying at Headquarters.

We had a great stay at the Headquarters. Very well maintained and updated home. Also, very private, yet next door to the Abaco Inn and all it has to offer. The house manager, Jamie Williams is a great guy and very responsive. We have already reserved it for next year! Cant wait to return!

We just got back from another amazing week in Abaco. This year we stayed at Headquarters on Elbow Cay. What a great house right n the Atlantic Ocean. Three bedroom/three bathroom was a perfect fit for our family. And, unlike many houses I researched, the house and decor are up to date. It’s really a beautiful home and affordable. The pool was great to have but, unfortunately, it was too cool for us to really use it. My only complaint was that the sea grapes need to be trimmed down - they blocked a lot of the view. Other than that, I would highly recommend this house. The caretakers, Jamie & Laura Williams, were so responsive and very accommodating....great people!!!
We had a great experience renting the Headquarters on Elbow Cay. We have been to the Abacos many times before hurricane Dorian, but this was our first trip back. We are happy to report that Hope Town is rebuilt better than it was before. We hope to go back again soon.
