Excellent overall experience. Location was ideal. Right in Hopetown with harbor on one side and pathway to beautiful beach with a surf break on the other side. It allowed us to come and go easily without all doing the same thing. The outdoor courtyard space was perfect for storing surf boards and beach gear. One thing we did not understand until we arrived was that the golf cart had to stay in a common parking lot about a 2 minute walk from the Chrysalis--could not drive it all the way to the house, but that wasn't a big deal.

We love this house. Very clean. The house is in a perfect location. Has everything you need. Great view of the harbor and sunsets from front porch. Path to beautiful white sand beach. Easy walking to restaurants and shops. We rented a boat and were able to keep it at a dock in front of house. Property Manager picked us up and dropped us off at ferry dock so we wouldn't have to haul bags. Would definitely stay here again.

We absolutely LOVED Hope Town and we LOVED staying in the Chrysalis!! The location is the best on the island! Your front yard is the harbor and your backyard is the ocean! What could be better than that, except for maybe being centrally located in the quaint little town. Well, you get that too! Oh! and the separate master suite with a cute little courtyard in between that and the main house. This was the best vacation ever! We are planning to come back again and again!

I’ve stayed in Chrysalis Cottage before and loved it then and now as well. There were some improvements since my last stay in 2013- new windows, improved AC system, and new mattresses in 2 bedrooms.
The location is wonderful- center of Hope Town, facing the lovely Harbour, and a short 2 minute walk in back of cottage to the gorgeous ocean beach.

We stay at Chrysalis every year and really enjoy it. If I could change any thing , I would get a new garbage receptacle for the kitchen.. The old one has a tricky lid. I would also request a kitchen mop so I could wipe down the floor easily . I know this is a big ask, but it would be fantastic to have a small gas BBQ... The old one with coals isn't really practical .

WE had the best experience of our lives and we travel all over the world. WE loved the house, the location of the house, and the views to the harbor and the ocean. We plan on coming back. Hope Town is magical and the people are incredible. WE made so many friends and memories over the month we were visiting there. We will be back
Chrysalis is perfectly situated in the heart of HopeTown! Charming home about 20 steps from the beach! Very quaint and was the perfect home for our family of 5 over Spring Break. It doesn’t have any bells or whistles, but we weren’t there to spend time inside the house! Highly recommend!
