Brigadune

Brigadune was private, comfortable, and well-stocked. The house is clean and everything worked well. We particularly appreciated having a dock in Hope Town Harbour for easy use of our rental boat. It was a quick walk across the park to "town" and Vernon's Grocery, Munchies, and other businesses, yet all we heard at Brigadune was the sound of surf and bird life.

Elbow Cay Properties and their staff were (as always) professional, communicative, and responsive. Our caretaker, Francois, was kind and helpful throughout our visit from helping transport luggage and groceries to the house to friendly hellos around town. We've rented with ECP four times, and hope to be back soon!

Owners of this home have done an excellent job! The home is comfortable and incredibly clean. The pictures of the home only tell a part of the story. We were pleasantly surprised how large the kitchen/family area ended up being. The porches provided an amazing view of the ocean on one side and the lighthouse on the other. The bedrooms were spaced out, so everyone felt they had they own private space. We rented "lil brig" as well and the added bedroom space and small kitchen (with refrigerator) was great. The home is located NORTH, golf carts are NOT ALLOWED to be driven to the home. If you rent this home, make sure everyone in your party is ok with walking a short distance to where the golf carts are allowed to park. The walk was down the driveway, crossing over Taylor Park, turning left about a 4 minute walk to the playground/police station area. We had our groceries delivered, however there were times we had to restock and carry the distance. Francois, from Elbow Cay Properties, took great care of us during our week in Hopetown. Excellent communication from Elbow Cay Property during the rental process as well as other questions prior and during our stay. We are repeat customers and will be using them again! We also rented boats from Island Marine and Elbow Cay Boat Rental, both were great and will use again. It was great seeing so many of our favorite spots rebuilt and thriving! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

It was quite windy so we moved around the decks to get out of the wind. Great beach. Great location, private, yet close to town. Comfortable bed.

We had a great experience and the home was perfect for our family of five. Overlooking the Atlantic Ocean was a dream and 'town' was a short walk. The house was clean and comfortable.

This was our first trip back to HT since June 2019 and our first time at Brigadune. The Elbow residents have worked hard to clean up and rebuild after Dorian. Brigadune was a delight to stay at and Elbow Cay Properties was top notch in every way.

We had a very nice time. The property is literally right on the beach but also a short walk to the town. A very memorable vacation.

A few suggestions: not allowing us to use the laundry facilities at the house made our 1 week stay challenging. We had to spend 1/2 day finding and doing our laundry. Not having locks on all of the bathroom doors caused some embarrassing walk ins by little ones. The stairs up to the master bedroom were challenging for the seniors but nothing can be done about that.

Still a great vacation. Thx for everything. :)

Good spot, close to town, on the beach, easy dock access. AC went out on the main level for the last 36 hours of our stay. Wife would of liked to have access to W/D.

We had a few things not work while at the house but as soon as reported they were immediately fixed. We love the property. Thank you

great location close to town & on beach. main floor is nicely redone, but very small (limited seating, space). Bedrooms & bathrooms could use updating -especially new linens, blankets, pillows & towels would really improve this rental.

The home had an incredible view of the water with great windows that allowed the ocean breeze to flow thru the house our entire trip. The location is a very convenient short walk over to the harbor where our boat was located along with a few small restaurants and stores. My only negative about the home is the 2 downstairs bedrooms must be accessed by going wasn't a problem for us because we had great weather but i could see how it could be with small kids and bad weather.

We had a wonderful time with our party of 10 at this beautiful house. You can not ask for a better location....ocean front, short walk to dock and downtown. We enjoyed our second visit just as much as our first!

Loved the location and the house was perfect for multiple families

We have visited Hopetown many times and ECP always gets us a great house... this one had sweeping ocean views and great breezes all day. The house was perfect for our larger party during this trip.

House was recently remodeled and was very well done. Elbow Cay Properties did a wonderful job making sure we had a positive experience with the house.

Our family of 5, including 3 young adults, spent a week at BRIGADUNE in Hope Town on Elbow Cay. This was one of our best ever family vacations. The home is amazing and has everything in it that anyone could dream of to make their stay complete . This house is charming, island feeling, casual and comfortable. Fully stocked and new kitchen, wifi, jacuzzi, million dollar views of private beach (we saw less than 20 people per day on this beach). Francoise and the rental team were helpful and courteous. The whole island in fact is charming and laid back and the Bahamian people could not be nicer. Great bars and restaurants and we spent many days on our rental boat. We look forward to returning as soon as we are able. This vacation was a 10 for our family!
