Great house & property, perfect location for Elbow Cay. Junior was so helpful, we had a blast

Aquamarine is a beautiful ocean front home. Unfortunately for our trip, the weather was extremely windy and rainy in mid December 2023. That said we were hoping to make use of the pool, which we requested to be heated for our arrival. It would have been a great way to have fun since using the beach, or boat, was out of the question. The pool was not heated, and could not be heated as the heater pump was broken. We also did not realize the unit was 3 stories...with the bedrooms with en suite located on the 3rd level. Not everyone in our party was able to climb that was also a disappointment. That said, the house had every other amenity we could have asked for. It is well stocked, hot showers, washer/dryer, gorgeous location.

This was our first trip to Elbow Cay, and we found it friendly, a community of pride, safe and warmly accommodating. Elbow Cay Properties on the mainland was accessible and professional throughout, and this particular house on the beach across from Firefly was spectacular. We were so impressed with the sturdy quality and thoughtfulness of the architecture, the flow from room-to-room, and the manicured grounds. Our family of eight was easily accommodated, and we thoroughly enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner out by the pool. The kids used the hammocks to laze away the hours out back, and we kept our rental boat nearby within easy reach by golf cart. Tahiti Beach is a short distance away with the Thirsty Cuda's frozen drinks within easy swimming distance. Aaahh, can't wait to return & rent this property again!

Our family of 7 had a wonderful stay at Aquamarine. There was plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. The home was cozy and was equipped with everything we needed to cook meals and the ice machine was great for stocking our daily cooler for the boat. Just bring your bathing suit and sunscreen and enjoy!

This is the second year in a row that we have rented Aquamarine and we keep coming back because of the great location, quality, and most of all service. The homes caretaker, Junior, understands what customer service is and he always goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is the best that it can be. I highly recommend Aquamarine for your Abaco vacation homebase.

Aquamarine did not disappoint. My family and I had a wonderful time while staying here, there were 8 total and this home was spacious enough for all of us. It’s in a great spot, centrally located and not far from some of our favorite spots. This home had all the amenities and we spent alot of time in the hammocks or out back enjoying the pool, walking the beach and listening to the waves. Everyone at Elbow Cay properties were so kind and helpful. Junior and his staff were amazing!! We look forward to staying there again.

We rented this house with a few couples to celebrate our 40th birthday's. Everything was great from the recently renovated house to the view to Junior the caretaker. We will definitely be coming back.

Junior, the home manager is very responsive to any of your needs. He has such a pleasant personality. He meets our boat and helps us unload and get everything to the house. Always responds to any questions we have, immediately. The pool is very clean. We love being right on the ocean. We highly recommend this property. The Abaco Inn, Firefly, Capt Jacks and Mackeys are our favorite restaurants. After a day out on the water its nice to come back to Aquamarine and order takeout for dinner as all the above restaurants provide this service. The food is really good at all of the above places. Hope Town is a great family island.

He was so helpful with anything at all that we needed. We had a guest have an injury and he was able to secure a walking boot and have it delivered to us within a few hours. We will definately be back. The home was great, Junior was outstanding!

We stayed in Aquamarine for its central location and ocean view. It did NOT disappoint. We used the entire house, w extra lower accommodations being used for my daughters family. It was extremely comfortable. Plenty of space. Junior was a great host and very helpful. I will definitely use this house again.

The house and amenities were outstanding. The owners did a beautiful job remodeling after Hurricane Dorian. The location is quiet and off the main road. The pool and beach were fantastic. Junior the caretaker exceeded every expectation! The Island still has power issues and some of those issues caused us some problems and the generator was out likely due to the fluctuating power. Junior made everything right and can’t say enough. Come stay at Aquamarine you will have a GREAT time.

This is a well maintained and gorgeous Home right on the ocean. Junior, the house manager makes your trip the best. He is always available for any questions.
Met us at our boat and got everything to the house for us.The house is spotless due to the Carmen, the the housekeeper. We have rented homes all over the Bahamas. This is the cleanest and the house Manager the best! Highly recommend.

There was no need to ever leave the house but we did have the time of our lives visiting the many restaurants and bars located on the island. If you’re looking for a vacation that you will never forget, book the Aquamarine!

Friends and I stayed here. The house is beautiful and clean. Everything looks new. The large deck and the pool facing the ocean really draws you outside. We enjoyed coffee every morning on the deck gazing at the ocean. Walking on the beach was one of my favorite things to do as it felt like it was private. I only saw one other person on the beach all week. We found sand dollars and sea glass. Junior was very helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. It is obvious the owners put a lot of thought in designing the perfect place to relax and enjoy yourself. When we return, I will definitely book Aquamarine again.

It’ was a great house. Extremely disappointed the owners would not allow our family to use the washer and dryer. We were told it had them as well as the other four houses we rented. All others had them available and ours was locked up. I would not rent this home again. The caretaker jr was amazing. He even called and asked and I agreed to pay extra for water. Very disappointing. Last trip to Bahamas. Customs was horrible and the local police harassed us for not wearing a mask on a golf cart.
