Our stay at Little Tamarind was great. The house is well equipped and Marty was a great host. We rented a boat from David Albury on Man o War, Conch Pearl Rentals and the boat ran well. We visited many different islands, Sandy Cay offered spectacular snorkeling. Pete's Pub never disappoints. Just exploring the numerous uninhabited islands is always a favorite for us. The fishing was great, we ate fresh snapper, yellowtail, mutton and mangrove every night. Marty cleaned a conch for us so that we could have conch fritters. We did go to fireflies resort for dinner it was very good. Service was great as well as the food. We loved our stay and we will come back. This house is outstanding.

We had a wonderful month long stay on Elbow Cay, Abaco during mid February 2019 at Little Tamarind. The cottage is as cute as the photos and spotlessly clean. The owners Marty and Tammy are great hosts.
We found time slowed down quickly on the island. When not at the beautiful beaches we enjoyed afternoons relaxing by the pool and watching beautiful sunsets over Abaco Bay from the back deck. There is a swimming dock on the bay, just a five minute walk from the property. The crystal clear water is amazing.
The cottage is conveniently located mid island, about mile and a half from Hope Town. You'll want to have a golf cart rental. Book your cart rental well before you arrive, as they are in high demand and there is a limited supply. We used Island Cart Rentals.
The galley kitchen and eating bar has all the kitchen tools, pots and pans you need. There is a gas stove and outside gas barbecue grill. Also a clothes washer and dryer a huge convenience.

The owner, Marty, was great! Super friendly & his family has lived on the island for generations, so he knows everything there is to know about Elbow Cay. The location was perfect for exploring the entire island and the accommodations were beautiful and very clean!
My wife and I enjoyed our stay. We were part of a larger party staying at various locations on Elbow Cay and the nice solitude of this cottage was a great break.
