We loved this property so much. Cart rides to the south end or to town were easy and when we wanted to chill out the front deck offered shade and a beautiful view! The deck chairs were wonderful too! Patty was very responsive and took such great care of us during our stay! Would highly recommend for a couple! Looking forward to next year!

A lovely stay. Property is well described but needed to travel some distance to swim. Convenient location to local restaurants and resorts. Property manager helpful with problems.

My family of 4 spent a wonderful week at Jib Sea. Our stay exceeded our expectations. The house was in a perfect location, clean and just as shown in the photos. Patty was a great host and took care of all our needs. She answered questions and was incredibly helpful with our arrival and departure to and from the ferry. Quite confident your trip here will not disappoint.

We were fortunate to make flights from FtLauderdale after Hurricane Nicole passed. We missed the first four nights but very appreciate the three nights we had.
The house was great- had everything we needed. Super comfortable bed an bathrooms. We especially enjoyed the front porch overlooking the beautiful ocean and hearing the pounding surf. Great getaway with the love of my life!

My husband, child and I found Jib Sea to be perfect for our family stay in Hopetown! Waking up to gorgeous sunrises from the comfy king bed to beach combing just a few steps away from the porch made everyday magical! We could’ve stayed on the porch with that ocean view and would’ve been totally happy- but of course the island has so much to explore! We liked Mackeys for breakfast especially the French toast and Firefly and Abaco inn for lunch/dinners. The convenience store was so close which was awesome! Everyone was so friendly and Patty was very accommodating! We fell in love with the island and Jib Sea!

We loved the Jib Sea! Beautiful home with incredible views. The location was just right. Hope Town is the sweetest island. Lots of great restaurants and awesome beaches.

My husband and I loved our stay at Jib Sea. We would highly recommend to any couple or even a small family with 1-2 children.
Up to date furnishings and decor made for such an enjoyable stay. The king bedroom with the doors that open to the deck with the walk out to the beach, like a movie. We enjoyed coffee on the adorable Adirondack chairs every morning, followed by a walk on the beach to find sea glass.
Personally we loved the location- a short golf cart ride to town or the opposite direction to Tahiti Beach (our favorite). There are amazing spots for breakfast, lunch and dinner close by. If our travels allow we will hopefully return to Jib Sea in the future.

We would return to the Jib Sea. Quiet location. Great view. Nice beach (swimmable when calm seas, but difficult getting in and out). Close enough to everything on Elbow.

Close to food take outs, laundry mat, and conveniently located in the center of the island.

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful, well equipped home on the dunes. Within walking distance to The Abaco Inn, On ‘Da Beach and Firefly and a short bike ride to Hopetown. Will look forward to staying here again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Jib Sea. The location is amazing and the view can’t be beat. The photos online are exactly what you get. The house was very clean and everything was in working order. The caretakers were great and Elbow Cay Properties is a pleasure to deal with. My only complaint, and it’s very small, is that they did not have cable or satellite TV. I realize most people don’t come to the beach to watch TV, but when it’s dark out and you’re tire sometimes you just want to relax and watch regular TV. They do have a small smart TV, but we could not get anything to play on it. Fortunately, I took my Amazon Fire TV with so we could stream shows.
All in all, I would highly recommend this property for a couple only. I agree with other reviews that the house is more of a 1 bedroom with a den rather than a true 2 bedroom. Rather than the sleeper sofa in the second “bedroom”, it seems a day bed with a trundle would provide a better sleeping option (especially for kids).

I’ve been going to elbow for many years and job sea was by far the best place I’ve ever stayed in. Clean, comfortable, well appointed, perfect location, and unbeatable views from the back porch. The place looks and feels like it is brand new. Only thing I’d change, and it’s very small, would be more cookware. I will definitely be going back to jib sea!

The house is well appointed and right on the beach. It offers a lot of privacy but yet is a short cart ride to both sides of the island. My wife and I stayed a week and loved it. I highly recommend it.

We loved this house! The view of the water is incredible. It is tucked away and secluded yet close to everything, especially Firefly! It was exactly what we wanted!

I feel that the house should be listed as 1 bedroom plus den. There were no bed side tables in the 2nd BR and no lamps for reading. A sleep sofa does not qualify as a bed and the house is really 1 bedroom plus den. A little misleading.

What a beautiful house! Well built and decorated! Location is perfect, easy access to White Sound and Hopetown. Only complaint (very small complaint), kitchen is not very conducive for cooking, but if you like to eat out, who cares? We would definitely rent JibSea again!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
